Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
Nice post,
Billy
I bet you are like that too Andrew. Things that you are sure of and at peace in your heart with. With that, present them as your truth simply. People see that and are more attracted to it than being on a soapbox about it. THe latter drives others away actually.
Kinda like, point...counter-point.
My opinion is "My Truth" however my truth can change as it is never set in stone. That is open-mindedness. Everyone has their "Truth" and only the individual's experiences and open-minded approach to life has any bearing on it.
At what point in your recovery did you realize standing on a soapbox and screaming at the top of your lungs was just daffy?
When doing so actually hurt those I had intentions of helping.
As for being right. I just ask the ol' HP, "How important is it?"
