Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
When I am depressed or angry, I try to shift and have an attitude of gratitude too.

I suppose I used to think that gratitude was mostly backward looking or just in today but in recovery I have learned how to use it in forward action thanks to others who showed me how. Not just in the rooms but everywhere - can I be bothered to pay my gratitude forward by offering to reach down that item off the high shelf for that little old lady in the supermarket. Can I have enough gratitude in my heart to motivate me in word or deed to do something for someone who can do me no good in return. Can I give without expectation of a payoff?
