Great hearing the good news from both of you! I had a pretty good week and looking forward to taking some time off and heading up to Northern Michigan for a week or so. Wishing all a great weekend!

Good news. The Bible. Jesus loves and God is alive and well on planet earth. And he loves us!

And the children of the most high God, will spend eternity with Him one day in paridise! Thats pretty good news!

I think I am coming out of a hard time I haven't been eating and trying to can be very uncomfortable but today I had bread with a spread and I had a flapjack with banana and didn't feel the urge to purge. I will force myself to eat more tomorrow and think I will be able to. feeling motivated.
I also got over a weekend of people drinking, my parents are always drinking every night but this weekend had social drinking so it's a little more tempting. I was with a cousin talking, I had tea while she drank wine since I was restricting food and running off nearly no sleep I had cravings but managed a good conversation and even let on some of my struggles to her. I got no judgement .
glad last week is over ready to fight back against my eating disorder and stay sober I even listened to music and sang along yesterday. :)

I was invited to a reunion. 50 years ago, we graduated college. There were 50 of us, in the graduating class. Seven are dead. I survived alcoholism and cancer.

I have gratitude. It's the best news I can have. I have a roof, a job, loved ones. I am sober.

I'm living prettt good.

When life gets tough I get tougher all time keeping the plug in the jug! Xxx

In less than five years I have completely turned my life around due to God's help and the men and woman of AA who have taken the time it took to share and help me recover.

Basically I had NOTHING when I started, and now I have so much my sponsor and others have to check my constantly wanting to make outlandish purchases and ambitious optimism.

If you follow the steps, leading with a humble attitude, it will be the greatest awakening and memorable experience you couldn't even have ever imagined. I used to argue passionately when drunk how I will never change, and what do you know, I stopped drinking, or God stopped my drinking, and I am a completely different person!

I will spare the details, because some might see it as bragging, but for those who have experienced the same thing, and committed to the steps while staying recovered, it's awesome isn't it? It just keeps getting better, No Ceilings!
