Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

So I was cleaning out my closet and in a box I found a 3/4 full bottle of wine. It looked like urine. Then thirsty laid it on thick. It's ok Pam, one sip, you've done so well. 11 days....hubby will never know. You deserve this. Go ahead. I headed to the bathroom. Hubby was in there. I showed him and dumped it down the sink. It reeked. Obviously I had hid it in a stupor. That's two in less than a week. Obviously I'm going to find more as time goes on. No way in hell was I going to listen to thirsty. Thirsty lies as does wine. Not willing to succumb to wine. I soaped my sink up to get rid of the smell and marched my ass once again this week and tossed the bottle. Onto day 12 tomorrow :)

You are doing such a great job! Onward to Day 12! Remember, the feeling passes. Just make it through and you will grow stronger each day. Always make the choices that are best for your sobriety, whatever they may be, from this day forward. Hugs!~

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
