Hi, i'm Tommie girl i long to recovery from the disease of Alcoholism for many years.  In my mind there was no hope, until i open up and ask for help to over come this powerful disease. Through this journey i have learned about the mind and body where alcohol centered. When you administer alcohol in your system, and you have an addictive behavior the recovery process is very difficult to overcome without seeking help.

Welcome! Yes I just couldnt do it on my own, i tried many times. It took asking for help, which was not something I had ever done. I could solve many issues but not the drinking. I found help from other ppl in recovery was necessary.

My story is the same as 1is2many. I just couldn't do it on my own. I tried hundreds of times and failed miserably each and every time. I knew I needed help so I started with a safe hospital detox and that began the rest of the journey of recovery! That was 9 years ago. Today, I am happier then I have ever been.

GM I been away for a week doing some positive activities. My week was very prosperous praise god, for his infamous favor. It's a new week can't wait to get my day started, I missed talking to my new found friends. I will talk to you soon, be blessed!

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
