It sounds like you may need alot more support then what you are presently getting. Are you open to trying AA? If you go to meetings, and get a sponsor, you might see a big difference in how you feel.

When I got a sponser, through AA, we immediately became close friends. I was on the phone with him daily and he guided me through some very difficult times during my early sobriety. Without him, I am certain that I wouldn't be here now, 10 years later, living a great life!

90 meetings 90 days and get a temp sponsor until you can find someone you are comfortable with. There is unlimited #s of resources to help when you have the urge. Use us, we are all here for each other.

Well, good for you in abstaining for one week. I agree in Picking yourself back up and surrounding yourself with others who will support and encourage you. Remember your goals and know that you are not a failure! I went to an AA meeting (to observe) and one of the things they talked about was that we may not be able to control what is going on around us, the hardships etc, but we CAN get help and support and control sobriety. This is a great group to also get that support and encouragement you need. Keep going!!! :) Hugs!

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
