Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

got a letter a couple hours ago from doctor about my urine sample of two weeks ago being "abnormal"....was dumb of me to agree to a urine test when I was dealing with my cat being deathly sick by self medicating.
blood test was ok.
and today forcing myself to eat canned carrots with chile, cause my eyesight, around same time, also changed; gonna be taking my first eye exam in over ten years sometime next month.
maybe or not, another urine test, if I can spend a week drinking water, cause now that the worst is over with my cat, I don't plan to go back to self medicating.

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

I just dumped...half...of a 2 litter bottle of soda down the drain after reading your post---I also drink way too much soda.
hopefully, i'll dump the rest of it away; I keep on promising myself to stop all the soda....yeah, there went the other half.
today the definite end of any more soda---I have a box of walmart 100 bags of tea for two bucks to open up.
thank again, for the needed scare.
Health was possibly the last thing on my mind while I was in active alcoholism but I really appreciate being healthy today.
Good luck. it is something that is reversible..
nothing like a personal health scare to make, at least, me forget other stuff.
gonna be drinking THREE QUARTS OF WATER today, and 2 litters tea, to try cleanse my system. and bike ride to walmart tomorrow, even if minus degrees.
so much comfort food that i knew was bad, to get over my cat being sick...ten times as much ice cream as liquor.
if my cat had been alive and sick another year---i'd be dead by then.
(a quick reply, from library computer)
yesterday and today fed two homeless cats that look like your avatar.
I knew lots of health info, and a year ago was eating healthy, and even donating (not selling) blood....it all went out the window during the last year of dealing with my sickly cat, with him getting a steroid shot in april maybe being the start for me.
thanks, a million, for that upbeat info, cause I'm afraid to even say out loud what bill is probably right about me being in early stage of.
I've started drinking 3 quarts of water, from bottled water jug I bought for my cat; that and 2 liters of tea as well today; only have cashews and bread in house to eat, so I should be able to do all that.
am typing from home----nice librarian told me of milk thistle, which is for liver, but I'm gonna be overdosing on that caise sugar is bad fo liver.
ice cream and soda kills----I had lots more of that than actual trigger, with actual trigger "only" getting bad in last few weeks my cat was on earth.
