I am 26 and I am an alcoholic. I have been sober for 57 days. It has been wonderful and horrible. 


I have borderline personality disorder, depression, anger, anxiety, anorexia, PTSD, among an assortment of other issues.


I am so new to sobriety. I guess I am wondering if there out there who would like to become "pen pals" so to speak. Mutual support.

Well done, I deal with PTSD and was anorexic in my teens and twenties so i do understand. Day 4 here and look forward to making it as far as you have.

When you read a post that says something to you, click on the writer's name then click on "add a fried." This will sent a friend request. If the writer accepts the request you can have a email friend in DS and there is an option to share journals.

Well done on your 57 days! You've made it through the worst. Being sober will give you that clear head, which will help you deal with your other issues. I wish you all the best in your recovery :-)

Well done on your 57 days of new found freedom and clarity! Most people are pretty good at responding to any posts that pop up. Its nice to have a variety of responses. I just post whats on my mind and wait to see what advice comes my way :)

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
