Hi Everyone --
I'm very excited about today being day 7 for me. I know I've been this far in the past but for whatever reason I'm feeling much better about quitting for real this time. The past week has flown by and I have not been tempted at all. I don't want to say its been "easy" but it definitely has been easier this week than past attempts.
Lets hope it keeps feeling that way!

I call my higher power "she" as Mother Nature was always an image I could relate to and women are better nurturers and listeners in general. :) So why shouldn't my higher power be called she?
I'm not a religious person at all but I do believe in prayer and that something out there much greater than me is looking out for me and guiding me. And I thank her for that.
Here's to another sober day and waking up tomorrow feeling great.

I've started and stopped so many times over the past two years that I was not concerned with going cold turkey, plus I can't "taper down" If I have one drink I don't stop until I pass out.
