Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Hugs,
Dennis
I got sober with a 2 year old and 5 year old twins. I can assure you they have a life nothing like their life when I was drinking; or what God forbid it would be like had I kept drinking. Drunks arent qualified to care for themselves, let alone children.
I began treating people a bit more appropriately as soon as I got sober, although I get better at expressing myself as time goes on, well most of the time anyway.
It's my emotions that come alive sober, and I wasn't used to it, and drinking gives the tainted illusion that I manage them better.

More important maybe I notice those little things that get me irritated and find a healthier way to deal with them or drop the fascination. Easier to do with a clear head :)
