Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Super job. Keep it up.
Its a better day already because of my friends here at ds and I'm sober):
I also recommend having a few phone numbers and just talking to another person is like magic. A problem shared is a problem halved
Just say I don't drink. I used to but now I don't. I quit a million times but would just obsess of another drink. This time I just say that's not an option anymore. I concentrate on what's good nit what I'm missing. I have had my share , cause I've drank enough for 5 lifetimes.

I have 2 years sober rom alcohol and the cravings do go away. Once you experience the wonderful benefits of getting significant sober time drinking will seem positively distasteful and disgusting and you won't want to do it anymore. i am so much happier being sober.
Since I've been sober and directly as a result of it I lost 30 lbs, wrote a new novel after being stuck on the same one for years, had a great long-term relationship and essentially fell into the best years of my life. The long nightmare of drinking is over and I am finally the person I want to be. You can get sober too.
