I hope you all aren't sick of me counting the days, but it helps me stay accountable. Yep Day 8. Not a drop. An looking over my list of AA meetings in town so I can coordinate one. Inquired about joining a gym. Not that im a work out freak, but to form another good habit since decorating and redoing rooms will run out as well as the cash it takes to redecorate:) with my county employee discount I get a membership for 22.95 a month. Im going for the hot tub to be honest. Self care. Never really applied it to myself. It feels great.

Ive been asked to run to the grocery store for work. This would have been an opportune time to buy my four pack, hide it n my car for the drive home tonight. Im not going near the wine.

Of course ive had some urges. But immediately the thought follows how 1. I might have liver damage. 2. id have to start over and 3. I feel great. Better than I did on alcohol so im staying sober today.

Each day I make a new commitment. This group and these posts are part of that commitment.
