Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am 6 years sober today.
Life is mostly good, okay and neutral. A few crashes here and there. But learning everyday. There's no destination, just a continual choosing the next right step, even when it's bitter sweet.
It feels like a lifetime ago since I last considered having a drink. I heard on a podcast recently, "Why choose the thing you hate that's sitting infront of you? Turn around and there's the whole rest of the world."
I will work today, and then I will come home to watch a movie with my kids. And I feel excited about it all day.
I still turn the music up and dance around, just at a significantly earlier time in the day.
I will keep going, because I know this is the right path for me.
Thank you for reading and cheering for me over the years. I appreciate you all.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
