Well, all day today, I was off and on here...no I was not angry...so be it if everyone wants to argue, none of my business, I can not control them...I can only control me and what I take in....maybe i am selfish, I dont know...

BUT NOW, I just walked out to find out my car had been towed...that sucks....I called the city tow lot, not there...so I had to go to the propery it was on and the lady was sooo rude when I called...I just wanted the number to the lot where she had my car towed...she could not give it to me...ahhh....if you to someones car you should KNOW THE NUMBER of the tow lot!!!! Didn't she expect me to call her? She had my car towed, fine, but now I cant even find the people who towed it....she gave me the name of the lot, but its not in the phone book or online...WTF??? THis lady really got me going tonight....I let her have it, I know it was selfish of me to be so mean....I want to calll her again and just yell at her...I hate her....and I dont even know her!!!!

Sorry just a little vent...

Now my cousin has to come get me so I can still keep their daughter tomorrow....this is no fun....

So, sorry to complain, I will find a way to release this anger...thank you all for listening, and sorry again...

Rant away! This is just the sort of thing that a relapse is made of. I've been through unemployment, divorce, custody battle, relocating under duress -- and stayed sober. It will take something insanely trivial to make ME drink!

Divorce? Serene and calm. Bankrupt? Happy, joyous and free. My truck overheats? Look out below!!

Better to rant than to drink. :)

I had my car towed once. It was tagged for vandalism in the "Hood" I lived in and I parked it in various places to hide it. It got towed from the church that I parked it in....
To find out where it was I had to go to the police department and PAY, I believe $60 for the information. THEN I had to pay 100+ to get it released. Talk about being pissed....

I was alway's told by my sponsor's I have had over the years, not to hold anything in, find at least one person you can trust and let it out, or put it in the journal, but drama and anger if you are new to sober can kick those feelings of anger and drama in you. We have to vent somewhere, hitting pillows, journaling, talking to someone, if you don't it stays there and can get worse and come out in very bad way's of acting out.I think your post was a good one.

I get angry sometimes big time, then I have to do the count to 10 rule, just take a deep breath and count to 10 before you react. I have reacted to certain situations in the past out of anger and it landed me in jail with the judge getting sick of seeing me,said he would put me in prison if I ever was in another bar fight. I use to hold stuff in and then explode, it is very dangerous and bad behavior especially on alcohol or drugs.

All we can do is learn and grow, we didn't drink cause we were sweet warm and wonderful as Danny L.(40 years of sobriety) use to say.

I swear you're being tested! I know that sounds crazy, but when I first quit drinking...I got pulled over twice in the same morning on the way to work for an expired tag. It's very frustrating dealing with challenges like that, but you can do it. Vent if ya need to and get it out..just don't drink..and don't pull your hair out! :)

This is a safe place to vent, so let it rip. There's days that it just dosn't go your way, but you can get through it, one day at a time, sober. I just do the legwork and make the effort needed, and let my God take care of the rest. :}
