Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Hang in there and take it a day at a a time.
And I have started journaling something which I never did the previous times and you right it does help with sorting things out.
Also right now I have engery after my 3 cups of coffee :)
I'm on day 7 and actually slept right through and then some last night.
First time in years.
Fell asleep around 20:00 and woke up at 07:00.
I find that popping half a dextrose or glucose tablet when needed helps me with the inevitable daily fatigue and sugar loss from giving up the booze.
I stopped drinking for 11 days (relapsed yesterday) and noticed the same thing - I felt run down even though I was getting 8 hours of sleep per night. I was also going to the gym which was new for me so I attributed some of my tiredness to that.
Good luck!
