PLEASE HELP

My father has been in the hospital for 11 days. He went in with liver failure and was supposed to go home on day 6, but then his kidneys started to fail. They are doing what they can for him, but have said he has at most 2 weeks. Does anybody know of any trials or anything that may be a hail mary effort?

I'm sorry about your father.m I do not know of anything, but then again, I've never known anyone directly in that situation. Peace to you.

I am very sorry about your dad. It sounds like like he needs to be placed in the Hands of God and allow "Thy will to be done" and accept whatever that may be. Miracles can and do happen, I have personally witnessed many but it's out of our hands.

I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers!

I would check out the Cirrhosis group. Maybe there's a liver failure group. If not, maybe check the Hep C room. Best wishes and so sorry about the situation.

With two organs failing, I'm afraid it's only a matter of time. I think the best thing you can do is to make sure his affairs are in order.
