Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

The mental cravings are harder. Are you are setting yourself up to drink? After all, it is going to be nice out and you might even grill. How can you not have a beer when it is a gorgeous day?
Easy -- pick up a soda or a bottle of water instead of a beer.
Do something else to stay busy -- go to an AA meeting, exercise, read a book on addiction -- GOYA. Develop a plan to stay sober or join a program.
But if sitting around watching TV helps you stay sober tonight, then sit around.
The only way you can't win is if you drink.
Something I have seen work and if it doesn't it doesn't
Get some non-alcoholic bear and switch up what your drinking. 1 regular 1 O'Douls. You might be lucky and find yourself drinking not to blackout or just too tired. Everybody is wired slightly different and if your gonna drink anyway...they have an Amber O'Douls.
It could be that this won't work for you. But I have heard this suggested before
Best best
If you want the longer more medically correct answer, I'll be happy to research it for you.
Plus at least for me, fruit juice will fill me up more quickly than a candy bar and the drinking can replace the drinking of an alcoholic beverage.

wishing you the best
Can you think of some other way to spend your evenings, that would make them seem more worthwhile to you?!
