Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to say I'm happy with my progress at the moment but I know I still have a lot to work on still;
I've been looking at AA meetings that I could visit and hopefully join soon. Also a few days ago.
I told my mum I had a relapse and how things got pretty bad 2 weeks ago, I admitted to being an addict to her and she seems very worried. She keeps trying to convince me and herself I think that I'm not an alcoholic but at the same time she has been really supportive saying she would drive me to AA meetings. I think she is finding this just as difficult as I am and is very worried about me when I go on night stops for work, all I can do though is try my best to stay away from drink but night stops are when I am at my weakest points as the crew seem to go pubs in the night and all have a few drinks.
Also I would like to here any recommended treatments anyone found helpful whether they are well known or not, if they worked/working for you guys I'll give anything a try. I don't want to drink but not feeling so strong as I did last time I went sober.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

Good luck!
what do you mean night stops at work? you are underage to drink in pubs...so that should be easy to not drink in pubs...what type of work?
Good luck with it all.
