Step One...again! I don't go to AA (least not today), but I do believe the 12 steps are a way to go, so...here I go!

Well, I had started on another fourth step, but last night my sponsor wanted me to go to a "Back to Basics" group to do all the steps thoroughly. It was one of most interesting step groups I've attended.

10 11 and 12 every day. step one in my exp is done getting to aa finding out if your a real alcoholic or not. Once that is done the rest is simple. The directions are clearly laid out in the BB. And with a good sponsor are easily went thru.

I am to start step 4 but have been dragging my feet and have some anxiety just starting this step. have the paper and made the columns!

I am on step 9. I have made two amends so far and when I complete 3 of them my sponsor will resume the step work with me for 10 11 and 12.
This is to happen this week.
Working the steps is changing everything!

I'm still working on three, putting all my trust in God and surrending all my will, letting go and letting God. It's a minute by minute deal for me. Have to reprogram my mind and keep making different choices than I usually make towards God instead of away from Him.

For me I would have to say all of them,on a daily basis.I always thought step 1 to be the most important to me.I also learnt that the most important step is the one you are doing.
I do a daily inventory in order to not get behind in amends making.

I think step 7 Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings,is a good start for me today.
