Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Going to AA tonight and will get my 1st coin for being sober for a month. I feel great and think I can really do this not drinking thing! People are seeing the difference in me saying you look good or what is different about you? I just smile and say living a better life.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Congratulations on getting your one month chip. That's something to be proud of. I remember getting mine, when I walked up to get it, the people in attendance were applauding me, and I had flashbacks of how difficult it was to get to that point.
That was 6 years ago. Looking back on it all now, it was well worth it. The struggles that I faced, without drowning my sorrows in a bottle, made be an emotionally stronger person yet, much more sensitive and intuitive!
I have my support network starting with AA, my family my friends here and at home, and I have never been happier!
Let's do this again next month! :)
God Bless!
