This group was created to explore various recovery paths for Alcoholism. We generally chose to explore paths outside of the AA model, or ones which incorporate, but are not limited to AA. "Tell the doctor immediately if you notice worsening depression/other psychiatric conditions, unusual behavior changes (including possible suicidal thoughts/attempts), or other mental/mood changes (including new/worsening anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, irritability, hostile/angry feelings, impulsive actions, severe restlessness, very rapid speech). Be especially watchful for these symptoms when a new antidepressant is started or when the dose is changed"
In other words call the doctor who prescribed it to you immediately
does everyone go thru this stuff?? is it the booze or the cptsd? or both? you folks sure are great and don't let anyone say otherwise... thanks again... duane
exjerseygirl2; i will try to get hold of her today. fridays are a hard day to get hold of docs here.. i think i'll be ok for now... i can always hit up the er if things get any weirder.... good advise... yall are great and you don't know how much help you have been for an old monkey.. i'll keep you up to date. dc
i found that stress relievers, prayer, meditation, changes in my life - made my thought processing work better than the meds - but that was just my experience.
