So I felt the need to share this. To start off, the morning I went into the ER due to Hypoglycemia from drinking, my boyfriend Sean was with his good friend Todd and his wife Rebecca whom I became friends with after dating Sean. So she knows what happened and why I went into the hospital. I also briefly discussed it with her. Well, it's been about a week and a half since then and yesterday I get a text message from her asking me to go to the bar. I tried not to, but it got me irritated because wouldn't someone in their right mind know not to ask someone whom they care about to go out and drink after they almost died from it? She is a very nice person and I am sure she didn't do that intentionally, but it just really goes to show that people don't always stop and take into consideration other people's well being. This experience has humbled me in a sense to do so with others. I ended up telling her I was staying away from alcohol and that just wasn't a positive place I would like to put myself in.
