hi,
i have been off alcohol for almost 3 years now. I started using Valium (diazepam) in Jan 2011 in low dosages 2-4mg in 24 hours. I did my research on the internet and figured it was a muscle relaxant. I was conducting 3-4 Power Yoga Sessions a day. I had some Xanax (alprazolam) tabs on every 3-4th day i would dose on that 1-2mg. Gradually by October 2011 my Diazepam intake was up to 20-25 mg daily. In November 2011 the Pharmacist due to some legal tangles stopped giving me the tablets and asked for a docs prescription. I went off the medication and exactly on the 4 day DURING A POWER YOGA SESSION with 20 students (mostly women) around me i went into withdrawal!! Immediately i took a couple of alprazolam tabs ( i had them in my pocket) i was expecting this..... I somehow managed to complete the session despite sweating and hallucinations (seeing colors)..... i met my doc and she wrote out diazepam. Now i am down to 7 mg diazepam daily hoping to stop this week. Being a Power Yoga Teacher i used CBT on myself and managed to reduce the dose on my own. i have given a break to my Power Yoga Classes but am restarting on 3Jan 2012. Please wish me luck.
SO ALL U EX ALCOHOLICS PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM BENZODIAZEPINES........!!!!!

I just got back from my Bikram Yoga class and read your post. Yeah -- you don't need the valium. Hope you are able to finish weaning yourself off without too much trouble.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
