Hello all! I have not been on in awhile, been so busy with school and such but I made an attempt to come on tonight and write in here and see how people are. It is such a humbling thing to have this. I am 121 days sober today! My sobriety has brought me so much goodness and I have come to be able to go out around other people drinking and honestly, I don't want to drink. Almost everyone knows me for not drinking and I just get a soda or water and still have a great time. I have such a great support system and I would not trade this life for anything.
One of the biggest changes with me right now is my boyfriend of 2 years (this upcoming month :) ) moved away to Pennsylvania which is 5-6 hours away from me. It is for a very good job which he will get awesome training for crane operating and his class A. He will be gone for 2 years about. We are sticking it out, taking it day by day. I feel as though this is going to help our relationship to grow. It is not something we planned on, trust me. I have had my hard days and still do but in the end I know this is the right thing for both of us. I am busy with school and trying to get into the nursing program and he is expanding into his career. We are at the perfect age for it ( I am 22 going on 23 next month and he is 25). I just know that I am going to need support through that. But overall things are going good! :)

I'm sure it will be tough ... the long distance relationship. It could be worse though. At least it's only 5-6 hours away. Short enough distance to spend weekends/holidays together once in a while anyway. Good for both of you for the positive changes in your lives.
What a smart girl for getting your shit together at such a young age! If only I could have been as smart and not waited til I was in my mid-forties to get sober. Be proud!
