Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."
When you think to much about things that worry you it can cause your anxiety to flusster.
I try not to think about the bad, but the good.
The positive sides, it seems to help alot.
Maybe taking a break from thinking, maybe try some medatation or relaxation excersises might help.
As soon as you start thinking those worrying thoughts, do something to take your mind off them. n.n
If you continue to look outside yourself for somebody or something to validate you, you'll just continue to frustrate yourself. Learn to love and appreciate yourself, and then people will find you irresistible. (For a perfect example, just look at children.) You may be thinking, "But how can I love myself when it seems that nobody else does?" Therein lies your challenge, pal. Nobody said it would be easy!
The nice young lady above also has some great advice - distracting yourself is VERY effective when you notice that you're just thinking thinking thinking thinking...
"learnt"???
"smtimes"???
"frenz"???
i could understand if you were like 14 years old, but you're 21.
I'm a bit unsure if you are who you say you are.
it would take me more time to think of those short-hand ways of spelling things than just spelling it out
Are you on any meds for your anxiety?
Nope i am not on any meds.To be very honest i am confident person but its just that i think too much nad that is what causes most of the problems.
I know it takes a lot of effort to get up and move yourself outside your comfort zone but its gotta be done.We cannot remain in a shell.
You are more experienced than me so i don't have much to say but i hope you try to go out.It may be very hard in the beginning but gradually things will stabilize and i am sure you'll feel much better.
TAKE CARE.
Sometimes we get too involved with too much and it makes us more anxious.
I was leaving DS last week, as I had a real build up of pressure from trying to help people both in my life and on DS.
I was also trying to cope with SAD, using light therapy, meditation, Reiki, new meds .... I felt consumed by trying to fight anxiety.
Is that what you are trying to say above?
Angel xx
But may main problem is that i thik too much and make assumptions.
To make things worse i have a tendency to take everything to my heart.
Everytime I start thinking about things like this I do the same thing. But then my anxious turns into panic. So as soon I begin to think these things I just say one word.. RELAX.. I sometimes can just say it once .. and I will calm all my anxious thoughts.. sometimes I repeat it.. then after saying this to myself I will redirect my attention to something else.
Hope this helps...
Chloe

Number4940> Why would you even post a reply about someones spellings.Seriously you must have a lot of times on your hands to go around and try to correct peoples spelling..
Really this is a SUPPORT group! If you have nothing nice to contribute then why bother with it. We are here to help one another out. Not call out stupid little things.
you could see it as that i'm trying to help him communicate better with others.
some people might not understand at all.
i understand, but it takes me longer to "translate" the txtspk*
*txtspk = text speak**
**text speak = SMS chat language***
***SMS chart language = shorthand communication
see what I mean?
Its ok.Thats your point of view NUMBER4940 and i don't have any problems with it.
We have more important things to discuss and this is not the right place for all this crap.
I request you to please emphasize on the problems our frez face rather than pointing out mistakes.
TAKE CARE.
You could'nt have said it better.
I don't know y but we do compare ourselves with others.
