Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."
Just a suggestion, but have you tried the website Meet Up? I have used this website to find local groups in my area, where you meet and socialize with others with social anxiety in a fun relaxed setting (like a quiet coffee shop or small museum). It's worth a shot if you haven't already looked. These groups aren't organized by professionals, they are just others with social anxiety looking to meet as a group, so they may very well have one near you.
