Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."

There are no brain scans that they can do to check for psychological disorders, and trying to read symptoms and match them to yourself is not always helpful--doctors have a better sense of the right questions to ask than you do. Get to the doctor's office as soon as you can and let them evaluate your concerns and guide you and your parents with the right form of treatment for your particular problems.
