Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."
there is a post in the anxiety group just now about herbal remedies and i think it might contracdict what you are sayiong (maybe its just the way i'm reading it not having the right knowledge)
i practically have to beg my doctor for benzos ( i take diazepam) but i dont want to go on an antidepressent and a low dose of my pills ( i only take when i feel anxious and not daily) do help
I would love further info on this if you have any
I have been looking for natural ways, exercise, meditation, foods, lifestyle, to help increase/balance it.
I think this is a good article written by a medical doctor at UK: http://www.lexington-on-line.com/naf_xanax.html
In some other articles I've seen that low/imbalanced GABA is also related to migraines and epilepsy and other disorders.

I want to only try the natural way. I don't want to buy stuff at the health food store.
I am on Xanax currently but would like to be able to go off it sometime. I've only been on it for a month now...and low dose.
