Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."
I feel like this when I've had thoughts racing through my head all day, especially ones that are more negative than positive.
The thing that most helps me when my head gets heavy like that, or I'm overwhelmed with thoughts is take a shower and just let the water rain down on the top of my head. It helps to help you shut off the mind and you can enjoy some peace for 10 minutes.
Get your focus on someone else and some other situation to break yourself out of the cycle. It's really tough sometimes but it is possible.
Good luck to you!
Don't give up on yourself :) Everyone is worth everthing in this world.
