Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."
*This was such a negative post that I feel guilty but I have nobody else to turn to at this moment. The few friends I have are "normal" and although they are good people, they don't relate to agoraphobia or social phobia.
My main fear is leaving the house where I live in case something happens to me, triggered from previous events. I only have Agoraphobia and general anxiety, but not social anxiety.
Also, I don't know what's going on in your relationship, but from experience, what your boyfriend said isn't healthy, maybes he's scared you'll leave him, yet it's still emotional blackmail.
