Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."

I have been telling myself that everything happens for a reason since I found out as it has made me pretty sad. But I'm not going to give in to feeling like I failed my family by not getting this. Everything does happen for a reason, you are right. Doesn't make it easier to slug through the rejection though.
there are simply too many people wanting each job right now and that is a really good place to work so there were probably tons of people applying.
