Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."

I'm the same way occasionally, I suffer from panic attacks and often don't like to leave the house because of it. It's getting better now though, thankfully. I think so long as you aren't afraid to leave without him (rather just prefer to have him around) and he's okay with it, I don't see much of a problem. Driving and being around people often can't, and shouldn't be avoided. Try going out with him every now and then. You drive. Go to a restaurant or coffee shop close to home. Test your boundaries, if you never try to fight then you'll always be afraid (at least thats what my dad keeps telling me) best of luck xx

This is very common and pretty difficult to get over unless you use all the resources you have. Have you tried (CBT) for this, that is one thing that can help you out. Seeing your doc. is probably a good idea, and take meds on a regular basis. I think going around with your boyfriend is a sort of comfort thing. we all have one of those. As long as your able to get up from bed and go out, is a very big accomplishment. Many people in you place do stay in bed and never go out unfortunatley. "Exposure Therapy" is what CBT usually talks about. Expose yourself to different places that scare you and try to expose yourself and actually go there. No rush, take it slow and always be progressive. Good Luck

On Saturday, while I was at yard sales with my best friend, my lawn guy texted me that he did my lawn. This costs me $70 every two weeks or so. I don't have great grass so sometimes, he skips. Anyway, I paid him on CashApp when I got home. On Sunday morning, he texted me again, to say goodbye because he was moving. My little thinking cap went on and I thought about how I am healthier...
