Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."
However, I think that this is mostly because when I am ok, I do tons more than is good for me. When I feel good, I move mountains!
I am simply not able to pace myself, never have been.
With my last major setback I've started to learn to take life a day at a time, sometimes a minute at a time. And instead of being upset at all I lost, I am trying to baby step my way back to a comfortable level. Hopefully, when I do regain my freedom I'll remember to take it easier this time but going by my track record, fat chance for that to happen, lol. I'm not just overly sensitive, I'm overly everything!
So simply do what you can right now and add to it. And take this one day at a time. Each time we fall back we learn a bit more. And each time we soar, we soar a bit higher. All part of this crazy problem
