Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety Support Group
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."
I hope that things look up for you, baby steps, find somebody to make you feel better, and most importantly remember that other people are right here with you going through the same thing, you're not alone, and their are ways to take back control of your life. Although seeing a doctor and seeing a therapist aren't appealing espeically if you're agoraphobia but every little step you take is going to make you feel so much better :) i hope that everything works out for you and i hope you can find happiness again!
I know it's hard, but try to remember that you're not alone. Take things day by day.. some will be easier than others. But if for some reason you run into another brick wall, just remember that tomorrow is a new day and you can start over and try again. Stay strong.. keep talking.. and don't give up.
