Adults living with CP Community Group
We are a support group for Adults living with Cerebral Palsy (CP) trying to find answer to help us on our daily journey.
Hi and welcome to Adults living with CP. We are trying to find good sound information on the effects on Adults ageing, fatigued and emotionally drained each day as we "age" with CP (as at the present there is next to nothing on the web nor in medical journals).. It is our hope that with time and good management of this group we will be able to help each other with little bits of info that have worked for members and may possibly help others struggling with the same problem!
The word 'support', is men't to mean 'helping other members overcome hurdles' that we may have been in the same situation and may offer sound advice or encouragement, to go on together. There is absolutely no commitment of any member to do anything at all... But we are hoping that Mature Adults would contribute and shear the work of this group within their capabilities!
We hope you can see that it really is just a simple self help group!
Our invitation is open to all Adults living with CP.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...

Thanks for inviting me Mike and all the tips you give me, Maybe you could make the news section thats empty as a Tips for Daily Living or something, each member could add their own tip on how they manage a daily task? and add photo's of what they use etc?

Do you suffer from Arthritis or any pain and stiffness, plus most of us find our brain gets a bit sluggish, and have poor short term memory problems as well? If you need any support or to talk over any other aging with CP issues, I'm only a short message away... Mike:)
