Hello, I have not had an easy life and although the odds were always against me I always managed to push through onto a better place. But recently I have become aware how much of my teeth enamel is eroded and how much the teeth is worn away. I am 34 now and I have had a high pace life going through many extreme circumstances and it seems my life was sometimes too rushed to pay attention to the signs of tooth problems and when I became aware of it the solutions were still not clear for a long time. I feel it is too late for me now, the yellowish colour of my teeth with the enamel erosion truly discuss me and sensitive has also become a real problem. I don't know how I can cope with this irreversible problem for the rest of my life as I am only 34 now.
Some teatment options for dental erosion are:
If not too advanced, enamel remineralizing toothpaste
For small erosion area; composite resin filling is recommended.
For larger area on the facial side or on chewing side only; porcelain veneer is recommended.
For erosion involves more than one sides of the tooth; either inlay, onlay or crown is recommended.
You can work on one area at a time if finaces are a major concern
Don't compare whiteness to those celebraties who laser their teeth to a neon white, that is not a natural shade.
