Oral Health and Dental Issues Support Group
You only have one set of teeth for life, so take good care of them. This is the place to discuss oral and dental care, good practices, dental office experiences, and general thoughts around those pearly whites.

I have protruding upper lip caused due to buck teeth. My upper two teeth are also visible outside. It seems like my lip is pushed out by my teeth, and it looks bigger. It looks ugly, and I feel less confident with it. I don't talk much as my friends and even my boyfriend used to tease me by calling donkey. Sometimes I feel depressed. I hate it and feel like I need to do something to correct it. When I searched online, I came to know that protruding teeth can be corrected using orthodontics, and after it, lip size can also be reduced. My bestie told me that invisalign braces might help. So I have scheduled an appointment with an orthodontist in a clinic in Whitby. I am asked to consult the orthodontist next week as he needs the bite impression of my teeth. If not, are there any other suggestions? Please share your thoughts or experiences.
P.S. I am afraid of surgery.
Thanks!
