Hi. To introduce myself I am 54 years old and used to wet the bed as a kid until I was about 7 years old. Unfortunatly as I've gotten older I have some minor kidney issues, I'm overweight and have become diabetic now. I started having a few accidents a couple years ago at night and they got worse. I talked with my doctor about it, had exams and physicals and otherwise I'm OK. I tried the alarms, trying to wake up every couple hours to go to the bathroom, nothing has seemed to work. Because of my kidney problems I can't cut back on water or I will have problems. I started using disposable protection at night to save the bedding but they just didn't work well enough. The past year or so I have been using actual diapers with a waterproof pant and while they work, I feel funny and it's kind of humiliating that I have to wear them to bed now. I wake up wet just about every morning now. I'm here to get some support from others in the same situation and maybe talk with some other people with this problem so I don't feel so alone and embaressed from having to wear cloth diapers to bed as an adult.
