I am fortunate enough to get my Tena Slip Maxi pads/nappies supplied by the NHS through the Tena Home Delivery service. I have just received a delivery of the new 'Breathable' Tena Slip Maxi. Hmmmm!
They are certainly very comfortable and seem to be more effective in absorbing loss BUT, in my experience so far this week, they leak as the breathable sides are not waterproof. They leak when I am sitting down at my desk or driving and they leak at night. I also find that they slip down, especially at the back. The back needs to be deeper so it comes up higher or they need a waist band of some sort.
What experience have others had? I do despair of manufacturers because some of the design flaws are just s fundamental. Who do they use to test these things?
Thanks, Anthony

Hi -see my other replies too! But I picked up somewhere it is best to keep front on slip level with belly-button in front - which gives enough "back" in rear. But then I am a Slim Jim who can even fit into an 8-15 Drynite [not that they absorb much] and ultimately 'spose it depends on each individual anatomy!

Thank you. I also noticed that then actual area of absorbent material is much smaller in the new breathable TENA Slip than in the previous design.

Both my anus and my urethra have been left closed except with manual intervention. I hardly ever pass urine via the usual route (I have a suprapubic catheter passing directly into my bladder about 2 inches below my...
