Adult Bedwetting Community Group
A place for adults who still have problems wetting the bed to talk about their feelings, to discover solutions, and to talk about life in general.
Hey, I'm Maria, a 20-year-old trying to figure out this whole adulting thing. But there's this one thing that's been sticking with me since I was a kid – bedwetting. Yeah, it's not the most glamorous thing to talk about, but it's my reality. Happens like 2 or 3 times a week, and it's been a constant struggle.
I've tried all sorts of things – cutting down on drinks before bed, setting alarms to wake up during the night – you name it. But the darn issue just won't go away. It's this lingering source of frustration and embarrassment, especially when I think about staying over at a friend's place or getting into a relationship.
So, one day, I decide to spill the beans to my best friend, Laura. Turns out, she went through the same thing in her teens. Who knew? Sarah suggests I see a doctor, and, hesitant as I am, I decide to give it a shot.
The doctor's cool about it, though. Tells me it's more common than I think and could be caused by a bunch of things – genetics, hormones, stress, you name it. Together, we come up with a plan, a mix of lifestyle changes and maybe some more tests down the road.
Following the plan, I start seeing some improvements. And Laura's been there, backing me up all the way. It's nice to have someone who gets it, you know? I'm still working on embracing this part of myself and opening up to others about it, but hey, it's a journey.

It doesn't feel any different though!Just so you all know a bit about me: I suffer with anxiety and occasional panic attacks, and sometimes I do an accidental wee in bed while I'm asleep. Now I'm a year older than this time last week I can report that nothing has changed, although...

Both my anus and my urethra have been left closed except with manual intervention. I hardly ever pass urine via the usual route (I have a suprapubic catheter passing directly into my bladder about 2 inches below my...
