Adult Bedwetting Community Group
A place for adults who still have problems wetting the bed to talk about their feelings, to discover solutions, and to talk about life in general.

Hello All,
A few comments/questions/concerns. I am an adult bed wetter. I am 29. I have wet since childhood and my father wet when he was younger. When I was kid I went to the doctor, and they checked everything and found no other health coniditions that would cause me to wet. They suggested alarms and I was given desmopressin tablets. However, my parents never followed through with the alarm. And now I can sleep 8 hours and not wake up or wake up at some point already wet. I am a super deep sleeper and I have not spoken to a doctor about this since being a kid. Has anyone talked to a doctor about wetting as an adult?
Also I went on a trip for almost 2 weeks. I took overnights with me and wore them. However, I did not wet once, but I still slept through most of the nights. This probably had to do with not drinking as much water, but I often stay dry when sleeping in a new place. Even if I sleep through the night with out waking up. Anyone else experience this?

Hello everyone IAM back in the mental health unit at hospital I've been sectioned under the mental health act for my own safety my daughter as been taken into care

There have been some wet nights when staying overnight at other places (thankfully it usually goes unnoticed) But yeah it does seem to happen more often at home, could be a coincidence and it'd be interesting to know if that had an effect on the sleep lab experiments.
Either way I hope it doesn't get you down and can come to terms with it to overcome any embarrassment it might cause. Best of luck :)
Bedwetting issues are related to unhealthy bladders, weak sphincters... I think being a sound sleeper doesn't cause bedwetting but if you need to pee overnight maybe you won't be able to make it to the potty on time.
