Adult Bedwetting Community Group
A place for adults who still have problems wetting the bed to talk about their feelings, to discover solutions, and to talk about life in general.
I have recently started to have bed wetting accidents. I was never a bedwetter as a child or teen so it really has started out of the blue. I have wet 5 times over the past 2 weeks - three times i have woken whilst wetting and manage to stop and finish off in the toilet but twice i have woken up with wet sheets & pyjamas with no knowledge of wetting. I think it might be caused by anxiety. Have spoken to my Doctor and am having my urine checked but i have no symptons of a UTI. Have a plastic backed sheet on my bed and have ordered some disposable bed pads and adult nappies. Would appreciate if anyone is/has been in a similar position can offer any advice or support. Thanks in advance.

I've just been updating my profile information because I had a birthday last week, and so I'm now 25 instead of 24. It doesn't feel any different though!Just so you all know a bit about me: I suffer with anxiety and occasional panic attacks, and sometimes I do an accidental wee in bed while I'm asleep. Now I'm a year older than this time last week I can report that nothing has changed, although...

Both my anus and my urethra have been left closed except with manual intervention. I hardly ever pass urine via the usual route (I have a suprapubic catheter passing directly into my bladder about 2 inches below my...

Your doctor would know and be able to refer you as well. They often have even more direct experience of this than doctors.
Hope all goes well.
You are in good company here. You've taken the first step in seeking treatment from medical professionals. That's vitally important.
Others of us have have managed this issue for varying lengths of time, so we can support you from many different levels of time experience -- from months to years.
Causes to our (night ) wetting issues are complex and wide ranging, as you've probably discovered. It certainly does affect many adults world-wide.
I just wanted to say you're not alone and we all have similar issues and glad we can help you anyway way we can. I have been dealing with bed wetting and incontinence for 22 years and I know it can be frustrating but with new technology from what doctors have some stuff can be treated for. I unfortunately opted out of surgery and what they were trying to tell me to do because it was going to be a lot of money but maybe some day stuff will get cheaper.
Lifelong bedwetter here as well. My bedwetting has progressed just like what Sport said. I am now wetting during the day, and am wearing diapers 24/7 also.
