I have been a bedwetter for most of my life. Control it with diapers and plastic pants. Very few leaks. Now age 69.

Welcome! Plenty of support here!

Glad to hear you're managing it well. There's no shame in taking paracetamol for a headache so why should there be for using incontinence products for bedwetting?

I'm 18. Been having bladder issues all my life. Constant bedwetter and have really bad daytime incontinence a lot. Wear diapers mostly and always to bed. Disposable ones for me. Welcome to the support group!!

@Lazy_Bones You’re right there should be no difference between taking paracetamol and wearing diapers. Actually there is a huge difference. Diapers are associated to babies, not paracetamol. That’s the well known diaper stigma.

I also always wear diapers to bed and I prefer disposable ones too.

I use cloth diapers and plastic pants at home. Much cheaper in the long run. I only use one diaper per day, which is a overnight cloth pull-on. I wait until I have several to wash. I bought 6 about 4 yrs. ago and most are still in great shape. Initial cost was around 300.00, but if you do the math, much cheaper. Only use disposables if I am on vacation which is very rare.

I use cloth diapers as well. Good ones do last long with the exception of the pinning corners. So I have replaced the pins with boingo fasteners. They do less damage on the diaper but can be costly. Also the softer diapers don't last as long but the comfort is worth it.

I wear a cloth pullup diaper with rubber pants, this keeps my bed dry.

My diapers have elastic at waist and leg openings, no pins needed.

I have tried Terry/cloth nappies and plastic pants at night but they don't work for me as they are so bulky and just not absorbent enough so I have stuck with wearing the TENA Slip Maxi all-in-one adult nappies night and day as I have found them to be the most reliable, absorbent and discreet.

Thick cloth diapers with plastic pants is the only solution for my lifetime overnight condition. Disposables always leak badly for me as I mostly sleep on my side. I also wet more than once a night so I’m usually pretty soaked in the morning. Some minor leak problems require a plastic mattress cover.

I like cloth at night too, but I think a lot of it has to do with growing up with cloth.

I had some problems when young last wet as a child 14yrThe incontinence returned in my late 50's. My wife and I discussed it and diapers were the answer male ego hit rock bottom.
