Hi all were do I start I have 2 grown up girls of my own one of my girls had a friend that was adopted when she was 15yrs her adopted mother kicked her out so she come to live with us she now 25yrs I treated her like my own daughter even tho she was a troubled girl sleeping around with men drinking then when she had a man never seeing her for weeks months years anyway she got pregnant 2 yrs ago and never looked after him she told me she shouldnt of had him she had him to keep the man she was with but that never worked out he's gone I try ed to be understanding but it can be to much the baby with me he's safe and happy I called the family services there nice they want me to adoped him wich I'd love to but no money to pay for it his mum doesn't care it gets me so mad she thinks she can come when she likes she thinks she his mum but am sorry he calls me Nan but am his mum I look after him dress clean hug kiss look after everything he need she does nothing comes sits there waits for everyone to change and look after the baby well no I told her iv had eough can't take no more of her but wot do I do I can't lose this lovely baby boy he never ask to be in this life wot do I do please help me I don't know we're to turn thankyou
No matter your choices it will be painful...you cannot force her to be a parent but you will clearly need support if you intend on trying to keep this child.
This young woman is an adult and obviously there are some maturity issues and she has no interest in raising her boy.
I suggest you get some help/support to direct you on how to best deal with the situation, and your feelings.
It may be time to stop enabling your daughter as these are still her decisions to make and legally you really have few rights.
