Hey kiddo. Unfortunately you are in a group of kids that rarely gets the support and love you deserve. You are in the age group that people rarely look to adopt. However my suggestion is to be yourself. You are a great kid and you have so much to bring to a family. don't loose hope. just know you will have to work harder than younger kids!!! Be honest and open and show interest in all kinds of things!

I am looking to foster/adopt because I LOVE KIDS! All kids are great! I am just waiting on an under staffed state agengy to "do our home study"

Anyone looking to adopt is sure to love kids and their natural excitement and curiosity. The greatest gift you can give an adoptive family is yourself with your unique and unabashed personality! Any kid that finds themselves asking this question seems welcome to the idea of adoption - I commend you on being open to a new family. An adoptive family approaches adoption with a desire for another addition to the family, and a child that wants to be adopted makes it that much easier for a family to choose. I’m praying that you stay upbeat and open :)

My very long time partner (16 yrs) and myself are DESPERATE to adopt. Maybe thru some angency we could meet. Not sure what info I am allowed to post on here. Like the name of our agency and placement lady. We are two women (I've had 1 natural daughter, whom is 29!) Shoot maybe I'd be a foster granny instead, lol. I am on disability no longer work outside home. I can devote all my time to you. Except nap time. Yes I am a dork and think I am funny. Partner and I are getting married soon and do so desire some kids to make family complete. Boys, girls, GLBT, deaf/HOH, all ❤️❤️❤️

What would you want in parents?
In kids I'd want them to be themselves, shine through perseverence, ask for help always when needed. Don't be afraid to cry, it's good for the soul. Likes camping, getting dirty, swimming, sports, board games and so on. We're game to new ideas
