I find writing helps me to process my thoughts and feelings. There is something about having to put words to my emotions, and think through my ideas, that gives me clarity. Sometimes it helps me vent frustration, hurt, or anger. Sometimes it just clears my brain from everything that is rattling around in it. Is there anyone you feel comfortable talking with? For me that is another way I process life.
