Hi...my oldest now 16 has terrible..nonlegible hand writting and his hands shake as well! I thought it might be the meds he takes but over the years there have been changes in meds and at times none at all....and his hands still shake. So, I don't have an answer...oh but, his handwritting and his fine motor skills as a child were linked! Hope that helps some..:o)

My hands shake, sometimes worse than other times and I really don't know why they do and why sometimes its worse. But I do know that some of my friends who don't have adhd but are on meds for other things, their hands shake. I always thought it was the meds because of that but even when I don't take my meds my hands shake, maybe it does have something to do with adhd, like fidgetyness is a symptom, so maybe the hand shakyness is like that only not as noticable as bouncing your foot up and down, like I always do and that sort of thing. It's amazing how many links their are with ADHD and other things.

I shake when i drink coffee while on adderal. My hands also shake when i am concentrating.

If you are taking a stimulant for ADHD, it is entirley possible that the medication could cause you to have tremors. If its bothering you, ask your pdoc about a medication called Inderal, its prescribed to me for tremors (shaky hands and legs).

My hands shake all the time some days worse then others but i think it may be a symtom of my adhd.Peaple are alwys asking me why are you shaking so bad.its not very fun when i put on my eye makeup! lol

I have tremors when I have too much med. and/or coffee. It goes away when the stimulants wear off.

At night when I expect that I am caffeine and med. free, I still have unsteady hands, but I have MS .... maybe it's because of ADD.

Anyway, you can see from the replies that you're not alone. I never associated it with ADD though, until now...
