I am a multi-tasker and it drives others nuts as I am go go go and do do do. I have always been more creative and free thinker then others as well, But, I talk too much...lol
It's all very "new" to me, and in counseling now, she's working on getting me to embrace this as part of my personality, and I'm not on meds, and how, if I fixed my ADD brain with meds, it might actually change who I am, and personally I'm a fan of myself, totally not meant to sound conceited.
It does have benefits, my ability to hyperfocus on things that interest me is benefitting me GREATLY. And I make connections in my head that other people don't, granted might be like thought 1 to thought 5, but it connects. Other "normal" people don't think the same way I do.
In some ways, it's super neat!
