My son was switched to aderoll, he is five and he is so tired. Is this common? Even on the methlyn he was still a boy now he just lays around. Its only been a week maybe it needs more time? Any advice?

My daughter was on adderal, but she never had a complaint of being tired--just the opposite. She was on the go constantly and up most of the night also--she would get to sleep at about 3 am. You should check with your md--adderal is a stimulant.

I was put on Adderall 7 years ago for Cronic Fatigue. I started out on a very low dose and then my PCP would gradually increase it. It was a quick fix. I finally found a good therapist and he advised me to find another primary care doc who was an internist...

Anyway, I am now off of it completely. From my training, kids under six is difficult to diagnose with add or adhd. I know it over cranks kids so they will remain calm.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL IT IS A VERY DANGEROUS DRUG AND SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR LONGTERM USE. That is on the warning label itself.

I have learned that we as a socieity need to be more active in our treatment and know the side effects.
