well, not sure where to start, the begining I guess, 2010 was a terible yr on my family, seperation from spouse, although we are back at home now and working things out , but the same month the kids and i went home my spouse left to work out west which was 7 months ago, in the mean time our bright friendly loving lil girl has turned into an abnoxious mean unruley manipulater at 3, she lashes out at me, we also discovered 6 months ago that a cousin of 7 had touch her inaproperetly and we have had her in therapy with a child therapist, who has come to the conclusion that no damage was done to her ffrom the touching because we caught it in time.
She has suffered alot of seperation, the cousins, the grandparents(which didnt beleive the touching happend and kept putting the children together against our wish's and the therapist)her father, but the behaviour should be declining not escalating, shes abusing me the animals and she is now begining to pay no attention at school(Jk) so the teacher the therapist are yelling adhd, so we have an apointment with a pediatrician, but in the mean time Im losing my mind and moments are so trying, I also have depressed 16 yr old boy who hates her, because he watches her go and uses me up I am spent at the end of the day, and we wont see daddy till xmas , things are a mess right now and I feel like a failure as a mother and just need some advice, sorry for blurting that all out , Im new here and it was nice to start to get things off my chest, thanx, its all confusing Im sure

I think it's been a rough ride for both you and your children. It sounds pretty stressful for all of you and it may be that is simply your daughters way of expressing stress at a young age. Don't forget your accomplishments as a mother especiAlly during a very stressful time :-)

i wish i could give you a big hug. i have been through similar situation. i have a daughter who was molested at the age of 9, and we went through alot of behaviors then(she is now 20). and getting divorced on top of all that, then my youngest child diagnosed with adhd. take some deep breaths, scream in a pillow, then try to center yourself. you know your child better than anyone else, and you know that you love her(and the others of coarse). remind yourself everyday that for every 1 thing you THINK you have done wrong there are 10 things you have done RIGHT. i remember the blame i put on myself when it happened to my daughter, the pain was almost more than i could bare. IT WAS NOT YOUR FAULT. the touching, the adhd....none of that is your fault. you are doing the rite thing, by getting her help. my older children at times get upset with the youngest because they see the stress i go through with her and dealing with the adhd. but they also know that alot of it is not something she can just turn off and on, and is not intentional. even if your child doesnt have adhd, and is just dealing with all the changes in her life by acting out, shes still a little one and doesnt know how to deal with all of her feelings and cant express them in another way. maybe if you and your son go to a councilor together, so he can talk about how he feels about it. i do realize thats easier said than done, my son isnt a talker either! i'm not a doctor, i'm just a woman who has felt the struggle you are going through, and just want you to know that you are not alone.
